International Fashion Show
Cleveland Cultural GardensRussian Speaking Clevelanders at World on Stage: International Fashion Show Russian Speaking Clevelanders participated in World on Stage: International Fashion Show, held at the Cleveland Cultural Gardens and bringing together representatives of different cultures and ethnic communities from across Cleveland. As part of the event, Russian Speaking Clevelanders presented Russian culture through dance and traditional dress. The performance opened with a vibrant welcome dance performed by a dance group led by Alena Reshetnikova, together with Olga Lebedeva and Ekaterina Kuznetsova. Their performance created a festive atmosphere from the very beginning and provided an energetic opening to our program. The audience was then introduced to a collection of traditional Russian costumes, including women's and men's attire as well as traditional dresses for young women. Each costume represents a part of Russia's cultural heritage, reflecting its history, traditions, and cultural identity. Participating in World on Stage gave Russian Speaking Clevelanders an opportunity not only to share Russian culture with the Cleveland community, but also to be part of a larger multicultural event celebrating the diversity of our city. We are grateful to the event organizers for the opportunity to participate in this wonderful project, and to all of the Russian Speaking Clevelanders dancers and participants for their energy, dedication, and love for their culture. Events like this help preserve traditions, introduce Cleveland residents to different cultural heritages, and create new connections between communities.

The 80th One World Day: A Celebration of Culture, Friendship, and Unity
Uzbek Cultural Garden of ClevelandThe Kazakh Cultural Garden — a place where cultures come together! This year, Cleveland celebrated the 80th One World Day, a special event dedicated to the diversity of cultures, traditions, and communities that together create the unique spirit of our city. The Kazakh Cultural Garden was proud to be part of this great celebration of friendship among peoples and cultures. As part of One World Day, a large multicultural concert organized by the Kazakh Cultural Garden took place on the grounds of the Uzbek Cultural Garden. Music, dance, and traditions from different cultures came together on one stage. The concert welcomed many guests, and it was especially wonderful to see people of different nationalities enjoying the performances together, connecting with one another, making new friends, and supporting the artists. The Kazakh Cultural Garden is not only a place where the traditions and heritage of Kazakhstan are preserved and passed on to future generations. It is also a space for connection, friendship, and meaningful interaction among people of different backgrounds. Cleveland is an extraordinary multicultural city, where people with different roots, languages, histories, and traditions live side by side. Here, we can preserve the cultures of our own countries while also discovering and appreciating the cultures of others. Kazakhs, Ukrainians, Russians, Uzbeks, Belarusians, Moldovans, Turkmen, Armenians, Georgians, and many others — we may be different, but our differences do not prevent us from building friendships, working together, and supporting one another. This is the true meaning of friendship among peoples: preserving our roots, respecting the traditions of others, and creating something beautiful together. Thank you to everyone who joined us on this special day! Thanks to you, the 80th One World Day became a true celebration of unity, culture, and friendship. Different cultures. Different stories. One city. One friendship.
