Russian Speaking Clevelanders at World on Stage: International Fashion Show

Russian Speaking Clevelanders participated in World on Stage: International Fashion Show, held at the Cleveland Cultural Gardens and bringing together representatives of different cultures and ethnic communities from across Cleveland.

As part of the event, Russian Speaking Clevelanders presented Russian culture through dance and traditional dress.

The performance opened with a vibrant welcome dance performed by a dance group led by Alena Reshetnikova, together with Olga Lebedeva and Ekaterina Kuznetsova. Their performance created a festive atmosphere from the very beginning and provided an energetic opening to our program.

The audience was then introduced to a collection of traditional Russian costumes, including women's and men's attire as well as traditional dresses for young women. Each costume represents a part of Russia's cultural heritage, reflecting its history, traditions, and cultural identity.

Participating in World on Stage gave Russian Speaking Clevelanders an opportunity not only to share Russian culture with the Cleveland community, but also to be part of a larger multicultural event celebrating the diversity of our city.

We are grateful to the event organizers for the opportunity to participate in this wonderful project, and to all of the Russian Speaking Clevelanders dancers and participants for their energy, dedication, and love for their culture.
