Honoring Russian Heritage and Building Community

Russian Speaking Clevelanders is a community created to bring together Russian-speaking residents of Northeast Ohio through cultural events, personal stories, volunteer opportunities, and collaborative initiatives.

We create opportunities for people to connect, share their experiences, preserve cultural traditions, and introduce the broader community to the richness and diversity of Russian-speaking culture.

Our community is open to people of different generations and backgrounds. We believe that culture, language, and shared traditions have the power to bring people together, create meaningful connections, and foster mutual understanding.

Our Journey

Russian Speaking Clevelanders is an independent nonprofit organization founded in 2026.

Before establishing our organization, members of our team were actively involved in the civic and cultural life of Cleveland’s Russian-speaking community for several years as part of the Russian Cultural Garden. During that time, we helped organize cultural events, develop community initiatives, publish a magazine, and create projects and programs for the community.

Today, we continue our civic and cultural work independently through Russian Speaking Clevelanders. We bring with us the experience, knowledge, and community connections built over years of involvement, while creating new projects and opportunities for our community.

Our Team

Russian Speaking Clevelanders grows thanks to the people who dedicate their time, energy, and ideas to building an active and welcoming community. Our team is made up of volunteers who help organize events, create new projects, and make our community stronger.
